When forced to choose between modalities 44.5% preferred individual in-person psychotherapy; 25.6% preferred self-guided digital treatment. BUT 72% WOULD TRY DIGITAL PSYCHOTHERAPY IN THE FUTURE.
Interesting survey: Most people were less keen on digital psychotherapy. Concerned about efficacy, privacy & data security. Not surprised by these findings but I'm confident these views will become more favourable over time.
@CoyneoftheRealm @BenMullingsPhD Just published. Smallish sample size, but I’m unsure if the development of online treatments is mature enough to be compared with at least 50 years of face to face evidence based research. Still, very worthy read.
